KARINA AND IZOD LOVE EACH OTHER

WOULD LOVE TO GO TOGETHER!!  

MEET KARINA…a sweetheart of a 5-6 yr old, b/w, 14 lb, Lhasa/Tzu who came to us from the East Valley Shelter with mammary tumors and a small cyst.  She had surgery and came through with flying colors!  Karina is a little shut down still…slowly but surely coming out of her shell.  We don’t know her history, but she is slow to warm up and needs some socialization…needs to know love and attention!  And….she loves IZOD!!

We always see them cuddling at PuparizziLA, where they are currently staying, and it is so precious.  She  can be vocal when she hears strange noises!  Karina likes to play with toys and occasionally give you a smooch, but she is not overly demonstrative yet.  We think she would be fine with kids over 8 yrs old, but they would need to be gentle with her.  She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body…she doesn’t have any bad habits that we’ve been able to uncover.  She does pull on the leash on walks, but that can be easily trained.  Karina is just excited to be out of the shelter and with family!!  She even seems to be potty trained after a few accidents (!!) but no guarantees at your house (and this is with outside access to a yard).  She likes to go on walks and enjoys meeting other pups on the street — but seems indifferent to them in the home, so she could go as an only dog…or with another canine companion.  However, she does sometimes whimper or softly cry for attention, so she doesn’t want to be left behind a lot.   Karina longs to sleep in bed with you…so if you are opposed to that…she probably isn’t the girl for you!  We rarely get females, so we expect to get many applications for her.  Please read her profile before applying and know that we just want to make the right match!   You could make her very happy by adopting IZOD with her!!
