***ADOPTION PENDING***

THIS IS JuJu…..and the angels were watching out for him when he was hit by a car and left for dead 🙁  They said, “not today, buddy!”  This precious, 12 lb, 4 yr old, gray/white Shih Tzu/Maltese, was picked up by the San Bernardino Shelter and came to LHH to foster (in the event the owners showed up).  They didn’t.  He had diaphragmatic and inguinal hernias, and a broken pelvis 🙁  When our vet opened him up, his diaphragm was a mess, his liver was in his chest and he needed to be put back together!  Dr. Adams to the rescue!  He spent 5 days in the hospital, was also neutered at that time, and has been on bed rest to recover.  He is doing fantastic and soon will be ready for his forever home.  It’s not a surprise that little JuJu is scared of loud noises and especially is not fond of the groomer’s clippers…but he is getting better and better every day.  His fosters have fallen in love with him and are working on his potty training skills.  JuJu likes other dogs and loves to play with his toys…he is happy as an only dog but doesn’t love being left alone.  He could use some practice walking on a leash (didn’t walk on one when he came to LHH but he does now).  He is a darling boy and will make a household a family..not to mention what a cutie pie he is!!  Anybody need some good “juju” in your home??
