THIS IS JONAS….a precious, tan and black, 12 lb, 2-3 yr old, Lhasa/Tzu mix, who was on his way to be dumped in the shelter before Captain Care (thank you!) intercepted him and brought him to us.  His owners were moving to Mexico and they didn’t want to take him with them.  Their loss, someone’s gain! This angel is a wonderful dog.  He’s got a great temperament, loves to play with small dogs — does NOT like big dogs. He seems to be potty trained, but no guarantees at your house!  He has been a gentleman at his foster home and love to play, get down on his front legs with his butt in the air and beg the others to play with him!  Loves his little toys, and gives gentle kisses when he knows you.  Jonas would be great in a home with kids over 12 yrs old….and definitely should have another pup or two (small only) in his life.  Jonas loves to cuddle….so if you don’t want a cuddler….he’s not your guy.  He also will probably insist on sleeping in bed with you!  However, one thing you can’t do is grab him quickly, as he is a bit fearful.  So no young kids under 12 yrs.  If you want a dog who loves to go on walks, is great on a leash and in a car….COME GET JONAS!!!  He’s waiting!
