MEET JOLIE….a sweetheart of a tan/white, 13 lb, 4 yr old, Maltese/Tzu (close as we can guess), who has had a very tough life.   It is pretty certain that she spent the first couple of years of her life as a baby maker 🙁  She escaped from her home and was hit by a car and ended up in the South LA shelter.  She was adopted by someone…and two years later, found herself back in the shelter with bad skin and nobody came to get her.  Jolie certainly didn’t deserve this much drama in her short life…but all that changes now!  On a good diet, flea meds and medicated baths, she has gotten so much better in even just a week!  Jolie can be a bit of an escape artist but all she wants to do is be loved by someone so she’ll never leave!!  She doesn’t have any interest in toys…but a lot of interest in giving kisses to other dogs and to you!  We don’t think she would be good with cats because she likes squirrels just a little too much!!  Jolie does not love being left alone, so she really would like to have a canine buddy to hang around with when you are not around.   We are working on her potty training but not at all surprised that she needs new skills, considering the rough life she has lived.  She would be good with kids over 8 yrs old, she loves to go for walks and ride in the car and just hang out with you.    Does Jolie sound like a dog you could love?  Let us know by completing her adoption application!
