JEWEL is an excellent example of how she got her name…she is priceless. Jewel is a 16 lb, tan/white with black tips, 4-5 yr old Lhasa/Tzu mix, as best as we can guess. She looks equally Shih Tzu as she does Lhasa! Jewel is definitely a human-oriented dog, but she doesn’t like people putting their faces in her face.  For this reason, we don’t recommend that she go to a household with children.  She’d be perfect for empty nesters who want a dog who may be 16 lbs of velcro!  Jewel does everything in moderation except give love — that is 100% unconditional. She seems to be potty trained at our foster’s house, but no guarantees at yours! Jewel loves long walks and just to be with you! She could be an only dog as long as her family is around a lot and she is not left on her own. She really wants to be with her people — a companion of her choosing (!!) would be ideal…but again, her fav is human! The family who gets Jewel will be rich!
