IZOD AND KARINA LOVE EACH OTHER

WOULD LOVE TO GO TOGETHER!!

THIS IS IZOD…..A frightened but totally non aggressive b/w, 7 yr old, 18 lb, Lhasa Apso who has really stolen our hearts.  In the San Bernardino shelter, he was terrified.  He had a small sebaceous cyst on his shoulder and was intact, matted to the bone, and nobody came to adopt him. He just hid in the corner of his cage and stayed away from the world.  We got a call from someone who told us about him, so we went and got him.  We did his surgery and even weeks later, he is incredibly shy.  But he really loves Karina~!!

AND to see him with her, who he loves to cuddle with, or when dogs come out (or dinner!!) is to see a different dog.  There’s no question that Izod likes dogs better than people at this point, but he is slowly but surely realizing that humans are OK!  Can’t even imagine what he has been through.  We want him to go to a home where he will be doted on and given the time he needs to come out of his shell. We have had a lot of frightened dogs but never one who would never dream of even hurting a flea.  Last thing on his mind would be to nip anything besides his food!! Boy does he love to eat! That’s when we see the most excitement from him — and he is going to get a lot of doggie love at LHH (and people too).  Wouldn’t you like to take that scared look off his face?  Come and meet him!!

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
