THIS IS IRIS….a pretty little flower who has blossomed into a wonderful companion.  Iris is a b/w, 17 lb, 8 yr young Lhasa Apso, who came from the Inland Valley Humane Society.  When she arrived, her eyes were crusted together, she obviously hadn’t been taken care of, but her spirit was still strong. Some medicated drops for an infection and cyclosporin for her dry eye…and she sparkled right up!  We hear from her foster family that she is smart as a whip and learned the doggie door in less than a day!  We suspected she was already potty trained, but we still never guarantee!!  Iris is as sweet as she can be, giving gentle little kisses when she is showing her love.  She is mellow, attentive, affectionate and loving.  She does not like being left alone, so a home where there are other dog(s) and humans around would be the best for her!  Lhasa live very long lives and Iris is in great shape…she still has energy and loves being in the mix!  She is a little sight challenged but not so much…she navigates stairs great and shows no sign of blindness.  With care (she will need drops for the rest of her life), she should be good to go!  A wonderful match for a mature household who have grandchildren visiting…she will let them know she is a dollbaby!  Do you have room in your heart and home for this blooming baby?  She’s waiting for you!

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
