THIS IS HUXLEY….and this tri colored, 1.5-2 yr old, Poodle mix is a lot of dog for only being 16 lbs!  Huxley is a kissy face boy, who not wants, but demands your attention!  He loves to kiss and nip at your feet!  He is sooooo active!  All he wants to do is play!  He’s a great eater and gobbles up his food like a warrior!  But when he settles down, and he is in your arms or on your lap, he is in heaven!  We are not sure what kind of home had him, but we know for sure they didn’t do any training with him!  That being said, he is very smart and will listen, but you have to be the boss!  He also gets quite frightened of people at first meeting.  It only takes a little reassurance that you are his friend, and he is good.  He needs to be introduced for the most part…and needs love and attention to let him know you aren’t going to hurt him 🙁  He LOVES toys…loves to cuddle…loves to look right into your eyes like he really understands, then disobeys!  Truly, training and socialization will give this boy a second chance at a totally new life.  He wants a forever home that has a dog or two for him to play with and older kids who will spend time with him…and definitely a yard!  If you are a runner or a hiker, this is your guy…he needs exercise to tire him out!!  Truly, what he needs is someone to love him and teach him the ropes.  He has a heart of gold and wants to show it to you!!
