MEET our handsome Henrí (on-REE), a 5 year old, 17.5 pound Lhasa Apso.  In honor of France winning the World Cup, we used the French spelling and pronunciation, though his square jaw and chiseled facial features make us think of Superman, Henry Cavill!   This precious boy was hit by a car and ended up in the shelter with a broken jaw.  Dr. Olds fixed him up and he is NOW READY for his forever home.  We know he was loved at some point, he is so unique and loves his humans.  But perhaps they couldn’t pay his medical.  Onny (as we like to call him) loves to follow you around, but is also content to lay or sit near you.  Cuddling and snuggling is always on the menu when Henrí is nearby, especially at night.  He definitely prefers to sleep in bed with his humans.  This gentle-hearted boy gets along well with other dogs, and seems sad when his humans leave. He might whine briefly, but will settle in and wait for your return.  He never wants to be abandoned again, and once you meet him, you’ll understand why!  He will look at you with his big, doe eyes, melt your heart, and you’ll never want to leave again.  Henri seems to be potty trained, outside or on a pad, but he may need a refresher course at your house.  He is such a fantastic dog and will only go to a home with a special family who will love, nurture, and appreciate his affectionate personality.  Now that his jaw has healed, to watch him with toys is just pure joy!  We know he’s feeling ready to go!!  He is great with other dogs but doesn’t need one in the home — but will if you are gone over 3 hours a day.  Kids over 8 yrs old welcomed!  Is your heart big enough for this sweet boy?
