MEET HARLOW….and her picture is in the dictionary under the word “sweetest.”  This petite, 8.5 lb, 6-7 yr old creamy white Maltipoo could not be sweeter if she tried.  She came from the Baldwin Park shelter and looked like the picture below, so we can just imagine what her life was like before coming to us (tears come to my eyes when I look at this):

When you meet Harlow and you remember this picture, it’ll make you cry too.  And yet, through whatever she has gone through, she is 100% loving and just wants to be yours.  She is very present and once she bonds to you, she is yours forever!  She is a kissy girl, is okay with other dogs but don’t let them get near her food or in her face.  She definitely stands up for herself!   Harlow just wants to be by your side, in your lap, under your chair (but prefers the lap) and she will follow you everywhere.  When you look into her eyes, you see so much gratitude…just makes your heart so happy!  We love this girl! 

When Harlow came to LHH she had NEVER been on a leash and was not happy about it…but after a day or so, she was very happy with a little prodding once in a while..and then, she was all about seeing the world.  Still needs practice but she’s getting happier and happier on walks.  She does her business almost immediately and hasn’t had any accidents at her foster home (but we never guarantee).  Learned to go up and down the stairs in two days.  She is one smart cookie!  

Harlow could go to almost any home where her humans will give her lots and lots of attention and love.  While we don’t want her to be left alone during the day, she does not have separation anxiety.  BUT she is a pocket pooch who would love to go on all your excursions with you.  Does this lovebug
