THIS IS HAMISH…or as he is known to his friends, “Hammy or Boo!”  This 4 yr old, 13 lb, cream/tan, Shih Tzu, is absolutely adorable!  We especially like the pink around his eyes…gives him a lot of character.  He came to us from the Lancaster Shelter with a bad case of kennel cough and quite skinny…he still needs to gain a few pounds, but he recovered and is a happy, silly boy!  We don’t know his back story, but we are of the opinion he was loved and ended up in the shelter through no fault of his own.   He is active and playful…chases after toys…gives lots of kisses to those he wants to impress (!!) and has a wonderful temperament.  His coat is soft, soft, soft…and he doesn’t seem to have any issues that we can find! 

He does have good energy and should get out and be walked.  He does the cutest little dance when it’s time to do his “business” so you always know!  We believe the best home for him will have another playful dog and/or a family with kids and lots of attention.  Hammy is great in the car and listens to what he is told!  Not sure if he really obeys commands yet, but his temperament is gentle and happy.  Does he sound like a pup you could love for the rest of his life?
