MEET HAILEY…a 18 lb, gray/black, 7 yr old, Sky Terrier/Lhasa mix, as best as we can tell!  If she looks familiar, she was with us four years ago, as she came to us with a broken pelvis.  She was happily adopted in 2018 but the family had a baby and Hailey was not happy about it!  So, we learned that Hailey is not a dog for children and she’s not fond of other dogs in the house (after) her either!  So, those of you looking for an “only” dog, here you go!  She’s fantastic!

Hailey is a very confident girl.  She barks to let you know that you have company at the door, same with mailman or UPS!  She loves to play with her toys, but not other dogs.  If you are looking for a more laid back girl, Hailey could be the ticket!  She is a loving, kissy, playful, cuddler… and her only request is:  No kids (teenagers may be ok) and no other dogs and she is afraid of fireworks!  Oh yeah, and please lots of toys and belly rubs! 

Hailey can be independent and will be okay alone for a few hours, but she would prefer you be around.  She was potty trained at her former home (waits at the door), but no guarantees at your house!  She is quiet for the most part, so if you work from home, no problem!  She is an alpha dog who wants to be the boss, so from the get go you need to be her pack leader!  Dogs should always be set up to succeed and Hailey, without kids or another dog, is an ideal girl!  Could she be YOUR ideal girl?
