THIS IS GRADY…a very sweet, tri colored, 4-5 yr old, 12 lb Shih Tzu, who came from the Riverside Shelter barely baring weight on his hind legs. The shelter (as usual) couldn’t diagnose his issues, but we knew he needed us! Turns out Grady had bilateral torn ACL and needed surgery on both legs. He had the first one done on 1/30 and the other leg will be done at the end of March. What we can tell you about Grady is that he does not like to be left alone, so another dog must be in his future. He is as sweet as sugar and he is being a very good patient! Before his surgery, he didn’t like long walks — but even with his torn ACL, he did his best to talk on the sidewalk! Once he is completely healed, we think he will be up to taking longer excursions. We will update you as Grady gets stronger and we have more to report! Don’t pass this one up — Grady gets all A+++++ from us!
