MEET GIA….a sweet, laid back, brindle blk/gray, 12 lb, 4 yr old, Lhasa/Terrier (doesn’t shed), who came from the San Bernardino Shelter matted to the bone.  Her matts looked like dreadlocks 🙁  Once she gets to know you, she wants to be as close to you as she can!  She likes to lay on you in bed…she will whine a little like a bird to get your attention or to tell you she needs something!  She seems to be about 85% potty trained, but who can tell with this rain!?!  Gia gives the most gentle kisses ever and blends in with the other dogs in the house.  She bonds very quickly and loves to be loved!  She is a great walker and loves to check out her surroundings.  From what we can tell so far she really needs to know love and know that she is safe.  She seems to be very calm and while she will whine a few minutes when you leave her, she seems relatively adjusted.   Gia would be great in a home where she is not left all alone all day…she is good with other dogs and really should have a canine to keep her company and hopefully play once they know each other.  She is fine with kids over 8 yrs old and would be a wonderful family dog.  Do you have room in your home for an angel?  She won’t take up much room !!
