MEET GELATO…an absolute doll.  His story is sad, as so many are, with a very happy “going forward.”  This precious, gold/black, 1 yr old (DOB 4/15/2021), 16 lb Shih Tzu/Spaniel/Poodle (??) came from a hoarding situation with six other dogs.   Flea infested, stinky, matted, no vaccinations, no chip, but a wonderful personality.  As they all were terrified at first, he is one of the most lovable dogs ever, but he will need some work.

Gelato is now walking on a leash, and has even started smelling the grass and trees and occasionally peeing outside!  Not potty trained but he is doing #2 outside and uses PP pads.  He’s starting to get it!  His favorite thing?  YOU and other dogs!!  He DEFINITELY needs to go to a home where there is another young, playful, active dog

You need to remember Gelato really is just a puppy!  He didn’t have any training as a puppy and he can be a wild child.  He likes to jump on furniture and may show up on your table if left alone!  He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and probably would be fantastic with kids over 8 yrs old.  To watch him is bliss.  Despite what he has been through, now with us, he shows so much appreciation and potential.  You can just see the gratitude in his eyes.  We love Gelato and we think you will too!  Do you have a home for this delicious doll?
