***ADOPTION PENDING***

MEET FITZGERALD….known to all his friends as “Fitz or Fitzy.”  This adorable, tri colored, 3 yr old, 12 lb Shih Tzu mix came from the SEAACA shelter when the person who was supposed to adopt him never showed up!  Lucky us!   Lucky Fitz!!  He had a small growth on the back of his neck, which we had removed.  He was a little slow to warm up — like 10 minutes and he was jumping into my arms!  He is very people oriented and we are currently fostering him with another dog to see if he would be happier with a canine companion or not.  He is a kissy face boy who loves his people and he will whine/cry for a few minutes when you leave him, so he doesn’t really like being left behind!  He seems to be potty trained or will go on a pad if he has to go out before you take him (but you know we never guarantee how he will be at your house!!).  He likes toys and still trying to figure out what to do with them!  He likes other dogs but is still a little shy and blossoming.  He would be fine with older kids (over 10 yrs) as he is very active and can scratch you when he jumps up on you (small children wouldn’t like that)!  Loves to go on his walks and meet other people on the street.  He is happy and playful…but we are still learning more about him.
