MEET FIGGY…a handsome dude who came from the hills of San Bernardino, with no owner in sight, no ID, no chip 🙁  limping.  This precious, peach colored, 2.5 yr old, 17 lb Lhasa Terrier (as best we can guess) was hit by a car and limping when the Dream Fetchers team found him.  Of course, we said we would take him, especially when his owner could not be found.  They should be missing him because Figgy is a wonderful boy.  He nuzzles you when he wants attention or to be pet and he is very affectionate and generous with his kisses.  He is still just a pup, and we don’t think he had ever walked on a leash before, but now he walks like a prince with a gentle leader!   Well maybe a baby prince 🙂  He likes to sleep in his own bed and sleeps thru the night no accidents — mostly because his foster mom already has a dog and a cat in bed with her (yes he likes cats)!  He might like sleeping next to you if you let him.  Figgy learned the doggie door at his foster home, but we never guarantee he’s potty trained.  Foster mom thinks he might be afraid of the dark as he gets frightened and disoriented if he can’t see what’s going on.  This is important in case you get up in the middle of the night and he doesn’t know who you are!!  He is also known for getting into the trash and tearing up toilet paper!  Figgy is  great with other dogs and needs one to help him with good manners.  He has also been known to “hump” so be prepared!!  Nuzzles you with his nose to get your attention, which is very cute. He seems to always be hungry but don’t let him get fat!  We can’t tell you much more except this boy needs a lot of love and deserves it.  Can you provide a roof over his head and lots of love?

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
