THIS IS FARRAH….and she probably has the best personality of any dog we have ever gotten!!  This precious, tan/white, 21 lb, 7-8 yr old darling Lhasa Apso X is NOT FAT, she’s just a big boned girl!  From the looks of her nipples, she has been a baby maker for far too long.  She had a golf ball-sized mammary tumor (that we feared was cancer) and pyometra (infection of the uterus) which ended her baby making days.  So, with no more use for her 🙁  they dumped her in the shelter.  BUT we are thrilled to announce that the tumor was benign and Farrah is going to spend the rest of her life getting all the attention she deserves!   And if you won’t give it to her….she’ll beg you for it so you’ll have to relent!!  Her eyes are good (she has white eyelashes which make them look older).  She is missing some teeth, but those she has are pretty clean, and that doesn’t stop her from chowing down!!   Truly, Farrah loves to get on her hind legs and give you patty cakes for a treat, a toy, some love and attention!  She’s not crazy about going for walks at first…but once she gets going, she goes, goes, goes.  Seems to do her business mostly outside or on a potty pad, but we could not say she is 100% potty trained.  Farrah just needs to learn what it’s like to be a loved member of the family and we promise that is what she is going to get!  She likes to be held like a baby and look over your shoulder!!  Farrah probably would like to be your one and only, as she gets a little possessive of her toys with other dogs But could go to the right home with another pup.  She doesn’t really engage, but she likes having others around.  It’s about time she got all the love and attention, don’t cha think?  We do!!  If you are interested in Farrah, please complete her adoption application!
