MEET EMERSON….the breedless (little this, little that) dog!!  He’s got some pom in him, but he doesn’t shed; Maltese (look at his nose), but he’s not silky.  He’s soft and cuddly, 12 lbs, 3 yrs old and so full of love!  He is a total dichotomy!  Alpha, but submissive….bossy, but a lover….active but mellow….what more could you ask for?  He gives you sweet kisses and playfully amuses himself with toys.  Emerson probably wants to be the only dog in the house because he is an attention hog.  When he first came to us (and probably will be the same with you), he was skittish and shy.  Now, he follows you around everywhere and always wants to be touching you.  So, if he can’t sleep in your bed, he is probably not the right dog for you.  His foster mom has trained him to use the doggie door….but he might need adjustment in a new home.  He is wonderful with kids and loves everyone…we may not know his exact breed (that’s what DNA tests are for) but we do know he’s a fantastic dog!
