Elmo
Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
MEET ELMO…and this Elmo may not be red with an orange nose but if he could talk: “Me, Elmo, say I’m 3 yrs old, 20 lbs (more of me to love), and curly white. You tell me what kind of dog I am, I think me a Lhasa and Bichon because me have black eyeliner around my eyes. But me a big mess when I came from the SEAACA shelter”
Now me all cleaned up and my hair has grown back and I must say me pretty cute. My foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest, kissyface, little monsters she has ever had. BUT….I am an escape artist and I have a little separation anxiety so I need an active home who will keep track of Elmo! Love to drive on top of you in the car; they call me a velcro dog, I don’t know what that is, velcro? Me do my business outside like supposed to but no guarantees! Me want an active, young family, kids (over 8) OK, and ELMO!!! Me also want another four legged furkid for me to play with, yes!! Me do not like being alone and I can be naughty and get into mischief, like redecorate your home!! That’s why I need a buddy around my age to keep me company and out of trouble!! Sometimes they call me Houdini…what is a Houdini? Me need a very safe and secure home and lots of love so I don’t want to leave!! I have gotten really comfy here and me protect my foster mom BIG time. Me need training. Me want to learn. I’m very lovable for sure!
Elmo likes to take over, and he is indeed a very busy, protective guy. He is also calm and very affectionate. He’s a good eater, loves to play with toys and would probably be good with kids. He is protective of his home and family, and obedience and training must be in his future. He doesn’t bark much, but as he has gotten more comfortable, he has become a little more vocal, so he needs to NOT be the boss of you but the other way around! He is anxious but exercise and another dog should help with this. Are you up for that? We want him to have the ideal home so please read his profile before submitting an application!! Elmo says….”See you soon!”
