MEET ELIAS….who came to us matted to the bone and very underweight…but sweeter than pie!  This 13.5 lb, charcoal gray, 5 yr old Lhasa/ShihTzu/Schnauzer/Loverboy can be anything you want him to be!  It’s hard to see his dreadlocks, but here is a fraction of what I cut off from his ears! 

Elias was a little fearful when he initially came out of the shelter, but once he knew he was safe, he blossomed in record time.  His foster roommate was a little frisky (neither were neutered coming from the shelter) but Elias responded like a gentleman.  Didn’t like it, but wasn’t aggressive with him!  He is a wonderful companion, and he would prefer having company as opposed to being an only dog or left alone.  He does not have separation anxiety, but since he is good with children (over 5 yrs) and people and dogs…he shouldn’t have to be!  Plus, Elias loves to give kisses and show you how much he appreciates your love!  Starting to play/chase after toys…and he gets happier every day!  Great in the car so he could go with you anywhere!  So far, his potty training has been great — he loves to do his business up against a tree or whatever is nearby!  But of course, we never guarantee at your house!

Elias would not be great for a senior home, as he is quite active and might be too much to handle.  He loves his walks and meeting and greeting people…he came to us a mess and looks great now…could gain a few pounds and grow his hair back and you might have a designer dog!!  We love him and so will you!
