THIS IS EINSTEIN…and he is a gorgeous, lovable, man-shy, apricot/white, 1.5-2 yr old Lhasa Apso Mix (a little bigger but not fat!) @ 26 lbs, who is spectacular now that he has been groomed!  He came to us with bronchitis but he is better and he is really a stunner!!

We named him Einstein because he is very smart!  He would not go near the stairs at first but within two days, he was trotting up and down like he’d done it since birth!   He also knows where he lives and goes straight to “his” gate!  Einstein is a bit shy at first meeting, but once he gets past that he is very warm and cuddly especially with women!  It does take him a bit longer with men.  We have found out recently, that he seems to prefer women to men, but we know with time, this will improve.  Man/men of the house just need patience!  His favorite thing to do is cuddle and kiss, and eat, of course!  He is great on walks and is learning that is where he is supposed to do his business.  So we think it would be best if he had a yard and was not an apartment dog.  He is also already very loyal but doesn’t love being alone, so we think a companion canine of his choice could be in his future!!  However, he does not like puppies in his face!  He is starting to come out of his shell and has become more playful…chases toys but not sure what to do when he gets them!  What a character he is!

Einstein is a very sensitive dog.  Ideally, we’d love to see him in a female home where he isn’t left alone, maybe with a small canine companion…or as their one and only.  That being said, he is a wonderful dog and we want to see him in the right home.  We are still learning more about him.  Please be patient as we learn.  We only want the best for him (and all our dogs).

Whomever gets this wonderful boy will be very lucky indeed.  Could that be you?  LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY
