MEET EDISON…a sweetheart of a 7-8 yr old Shih Tzu, who weighs just under 12 lbs, and is tan/white with black tips.  He looked like this (below) in the shelter and so nobody came to his rescue 🙁  We knew  under all that hair there was a dog in there so we were happy to pull him!! 

Edison came from SEAACA and somehow got into an altercation with the dog in his kennel (not his fault, he is good with other dogs), who bit his lower eyelid.  Thankfully, no irreparable damage.  As you can see…he has one blue eye and one brown.  Very unique and very loving!  He loves going for walks, giving kisses, chasing after toys…and he’s a big cuddler!  He does need work on his potty training, as he always poops outside but has those occasional pp accidents inside.  Look at his picture above and you can understand why! But he is a smart boy so that shouldn’t be a problem.  It will be easier for him and you if you have a yard!   Edison seems to be afraid of men and will bark at them, but with time, exposure and socialization should help heal this.  Loves people in general and good with other dogs on the street and elsewhere.  

What we have noticed with Edison is that he does have separation anxiety and needs a home where his humans and/or another dog are around all the time.  Since nobody can be home all the time, another dog would be imperative and training will help!

Now that Edison is over his kennel cough, he is a big lover and is good with everyone, even kids 8+.  Do you have a home and heart for this boy?  We sure hope so!
