***ADOPTION PENDING***

MEET EDIE…a sweet, but (formerly) terrified, princess!  This 2-3 yr old, charcoal gray/silver/white, 14 lb, Silky Terrier Lhasa mix (?)…is a gem once she knows you!  When she first arrived from the Inland Valley Shelter, you couldn’t touch her without her getting upset — but she didn’t bite.  She did snap, but if she had wanted to connect, she would have and she didn’t.  It was as if she was in terrible pain…and she was!  She had a raging bladder infection, which has now cleared up.  Edie takes a little time to get to know you and then she is a lovebug of the highest degree!  She wants to be touching you when you are together, cuddles, puts her paw on your hand, her head on your shoulder, just wants to feel safe and loved.  She is all those things at LHH!  She does not like being left alone but settles down fairly quickly.  Edie would like to have another small, sweet dog as her companion, along with her humans.  No kids under 12 yrs old.  She will bark for a bit if you leave her alone in the house, so her ideal home will have her people around a lot.  She was OK at the groomer  but it took her a little bit to feel comfortable (and I helped!)  Edie just wants to be loved and paid attention to!  She gives kisses and when she looks at you with those bedroom brown eyes, you will melt. She does her business outside or on a pp pad (most of the time).  She walks well (now) on a leash but she probably hasn’t had any proper training so she could use practice.  Edie needs a home that will be patient with her, has another canine, lives in a house vs. apartment because she does bark from time to time like most dogs…and will love her despite her tiny imperfections.  I would keep her if I could!  Does Edie sound like a dog you could love and let her love you?

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
