INTRODUCING DOLBY — a 12-pound, 4-year-old, tri-colored Shih Tzu who is pure charm wrapped in a teddy-bear body!  With his soft coat, soulful eyes and perfectly huggable size, Dolby is a living doll.  His story didn’t start great, but luck fortunately brought him to LHH. His owner had to go to assisted living and he came to us with a baseball sized testicular tumor they thought was a hernia! Fortunately, it didn’t metastasize and surgery took care of it — so no cancer!  Dolby’s foster calls him one of the easiest, most enjoyable dogs they’ve ever had….calm, gentle and content — an independent little guy who truly loves his people. He’s happy to do his own thing, but when it’s time for affection, he’s all in. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Kisses? Ofcourse. Quiet couch time? His fav!

Loves to play with other dogs….and definitely should one of his own!  Size doesn’t matter; he would be thrilled to chase, wrestle and nap alongside his BFF.  Also great with kids, making him an ideal family dog. Whether your home is busy, or calm and cozy, Dolby fits right in.  He’s a polite little guy who happily greets others and loves his walks. He’s a dream around the house — very treat motivated….crate trained and working on potty training!  

Dolby would thrive in a home with other dogs, kids, and a family who will cherish him. He has so much love to give and asks for very little in return — just a warm home, loving people and a place to belong forever.  If you’re looking for a sweet, engaging companion who will quietly steal your heart, Dolby is your guy. 🧸💛
