THIS IS DEXTER…..a spirited, 3 yr old, 10 lb, white, Shih Tzu Poodle/Maltese mix, whose story is a sad one.  This little angel was found dodging cars in the worst part of South Central.  His rescue angel said she thought he was a gray dog, he was so dirty.  He was not neutered, no ID, no chip….he was very lucky to be in the wrong place at the right time!  A makeover, neuter, chip, lots of love and good food can do wonders for a little guy!  Dexter MUST go to a home where there is another dog…as he will cry if he is alone…tells us that he was abandoned and doesn’t want to be left again!  That being said, he does not have separation anxiety; just wants a canine sibling to hang out with. He loves playing with other dogs, toys, is a happy guy and seems to be good with almost everyone!  He’d prefer a home without young children, but respectful kids over 12 years old should be fine.  He’s getting the hang of potty training but may need a refresher course.  If you have been looking for a dapper dude to love and cuddle, who will kiss you and let you know how much he appreciates being rescued….he’s your guy!
