MEET DAWSON…the awesome dog!! This “bundle of joy” as his fosters call him, is a 16 lb, 4-5 yr old, golden/tan mix….we’re not quite sure but he has a coat a little like a Pomeranian and a Lhasa-ish face!! He does shed just a little, but he is soft and silky and just a great little man. What his temporary home tells us: “Dawson is a happy, playful sweetheart who brightens every playgroup! He’s friendly with everyone, loves a good game and never says no to affection. Handsome, gentle and full of joy.”
What we learned about him when he first arrived is generally the same! He loves attention and especially belly rubs. Not sure what to do with toys but was getting the hang of it. He’d chase but forget why he did that!! Good on walks, does his business — but will use a pp pad if need be. One thing….he would much prefer having you and/or another canine around all the time. He doesn’t like being alone! All dogs need acclimation period to a new environment 🙂
The ideal home for Dawson would be one where he gets a lot of attention. He is a kissy boy, who wants to tell you how much he appreciates you having him join your family and will always let you know he loves you!
