***ADOPTION PENDING***

MEET DAKOTA…a 1 yr old, silver/gold/blk, 7.3 lb (underweight), Yorkie Mix, whose past life has been one of being shuffled from one home to another 🙁  Her owner dropped her off at a friend’s home after having her for almost a year; then told her she wasn’t coming back for her!  Not being a dog person, her friend gave her to a neighbor to foster, who wasn’t looking for another dog.  So, she called us and we’re so glad she did.  Dakota is a dollbaby.  All she wants is to be loved and to know that she is safe.  She is not a barker (very quiet), she is loving and gives gentle kisses when she knows you!  Not an ounce of aggression!  She will need to be potty trained…but she is learning PP pads and with some patience, she will learn.  She is young and needs stability so she knows what to do and where!  We have learned that Dakota should go to a home where there is another dog.  It would be ideal for her to have a companion to show her the ropes!  She also would love the company when you are not at home.  Kids would be great (over 8 yrs). A yard would be good for training, as she is still shy doing her business on walks.  Dakota is very portable — she does have longer legs, but is light as a feather!  She is good on walks, loves everyone and asks all she meets for attention!  Do you have a place in your home and heart for little Dakota?
