MEET COWBOY LOUIE….who wants to wrangle you in as his one and only forever home.  This strapping young man is a 12lb cream/tan, 1-2 yr old, Lhasa Maltese who is very playful, loves to interact with kids and adults and other dogs, big or small.   Unfortunately, his home became one where his human dad has been ill and is now in hospice care.  The family is unable to take him, so we have stepped up.  We have never seen him around cats but we’re pretty sure he would be okay….he is very adaptable.  Cowboy knows how to use a doggy door and is house trained (according to his previous owner) but if you don’t put him on a schedule or he has no access to outside, he may have an accident!!  That would be human error!!  That’s why we never guarantee.

Cowboy loves his toys, especially his pink dinosaurs (don’t tell anyone!) and will play fetch (doesn’t always bring it back right away).  He does have energy and would do well in an active home with other dogs to play with, but he does settle down and loves to lay on your lap on the couch.   He would not be happy separated from the family or left alone without another dog.  At night he will usually sleep in his dog bed but would love to cuddle on yours as well. Cowboy Louie is sure to steal your heart….come and get him!!  New pictures coming.
