MEET CHOPSTIX — a 3 yr-old, 12-lb, black & white, one-eyed Shih Tzu mix! Chopstix settled into his foster home very quickly.  He follows his foster mom from room to room and is very playful — loves his toys.  He loves to play and be played with.  He tends to nip on hands while playing (like a puppy would do), but we are working on that.  He is a bit hesitant of strangers picking him up before they’ve been properly introduced, so we think he would be best in a home without kids.  Chopstix does well with other dogs, big and small.  There is an older, grumpy dog in his foster home, and he knows not to bother him.  We have not introduced him to cats.   He is very good on the leash and enjoys walks and car rides.  Chopstix seems to be house trained in his foster home, but we never guarantee!  He currently sleeps in the bedroom near his foster mom.  He gets a bit nippy if a stranger tries to pick him up or pet his head, but he is okay after a moment or two.   I’d probably do the same thing!!  Do you have space in your heart for this one-eyed cutie?
