COURTESY POSTING FOR FREE ANIMAL DOCTOR

MEET CHIP….and no question, this little emaciated, 6 lb (at the time), brown/white, 10 yr old Pom Chi is a survivor.  Found on the streets of East Los Angeles by a good Samaritan, he had a terrible abscessed tooth that had erupted through his face near his eye.  Chip was immediately rushed to the vet, just in the nick of time.  The infection had burst open and he needed emergency surgery.  Now, at 7-8 lbs, Chip is doing so much better!  His face has healed, his bloodwork was good and every day he shows progress!  Chip is a “chipper” little senior who likes to tool around and just be very cute!  His eyes are good…he is probably 80% deaf…but he has a lot of personality.  He decided the toy in the picture was his new best friend…but that’s because he hasn’t met you yet!  When he wants your attention, he will bark — he wants to join the party!  He likes to be close to you…and he loves attention, but he is also independent in his own way.  He seems to be pp pad trained, but you know we never guarantee.  He’s definitely a “foodie” and isn’t particular…but he LOVES treats!  He also likes to go on walks and check out all the trees, plants and grassy areas.  Chip needs a home where he can be comfy and loved…and Pommies live long lives!  Do you have a home where he can sunbathe and live out his golden years?  Contact:  Ryan@freeanimaldoctor.org  Phone:  626.325.6296
