THIS IS OUR LITTLE CHINA DOLL…”Chi” for short, which means ‘younger energy, representing the vibrant and dynamic spirit of youth.’ That pretty much sums it up for this little 1.5 yr old, 7-8 lb, white Maltipoo, who we have nicknamed “Kling-on.” She doesn’t look like a Trekkie, but if she can be held in your arms and love you till the sun comes up, China will be up front and personal! This is a far cry from when she arrived. She wouldn’t eat at the shelter or at home, so we brought her to the hospital, got her some fluids and bloodwork. Now, she is healthy and while she is a picky eater, she is the first to try and sneak a bite!

We have recently learned from her foster that China is initially fearful of men. It doesn’t take her long to warm up, but it does take conscientious attention. She is still getting used to walking on a leash and sounds can intimidate her. Normal socialization should solve this issue. Cuddling, kissing and snuggling are her favorite past times when she isn’t running around. Loves to be on high places, will sit on the console of your car while you are driving, if there is another dog around, she will try to get in front at all costs!! Doing well with her potty training but no guarantees at your house. Keep a watchful eye on her when you open doors, as she can bolt — but then returns quickly because outside is still not safe to her. She is just an itty bitty thing, so she can go everywhere with you…content to sit on your lap and be part of the conversation! Love and attention will make this little princess a happy one.
