MEET CHESTER….a handsome, 14 lb, white/cream, 7 yr old American Eskie and Lhasa Apso (as best we can tell)…who would not be suited to a person with allergies.  Chester was another lost boy who ended up on the Freeway and was scared to death!  He has a little PTSD from this experience, so it is best to go slowly with him upon meeting him.  He is not aggressive but was a bit fearful, so he probably would not be best in a home with kids under 12.   He has settled down here and is great but does react if he is hurt or fears being hurt.  We love him and are just getting to know him.  We don’t know how long he had been on the streets but he had not been neutered (is now) and he had a mouth full of bad teeth — so he got a dental!  He is very curious and he doesn’t like being left alone — he definitely needs another dog or human with him.  No separation anxiety that we can tell, he is just fearful of being abandoned again.  Chester is a wonderful and happy boy who just needs love, understanding and parameters and he will be a wonderful companion.  Does he sound like a boy you could love?
