THIS IS CARLY…and the home that gets her will have to cherish her to life.  This little 10 lb, cream colored, 3-4 yr old, Shih Tzu mix (her eyes are outlined like black eyeliner like a Bichon Frise), with the cutest underbite ever, came to us terrified. When I held her, she grabed on to my arm like it’s a life or death situation!  We don’t know what her past was like, but we know it wasn’t good.  Still, she doesn’t have any aggression in her, except she likes to nip at leg pants from time to time but only to get your attention!  She is an attention hog, but she loves to sit on your lap and love you!  When we first got her, it took us three days before she would even walk outside…but she has blossomed — that is what happens when you give a fearful dog love…at least this one!  Carly is lovable, a sweetheart and a love.  It is so much fun to see her jumping up and acting like a puppy!  She loves to play with other dogs but she can be very dominant in the house.  We thought that she should go to a home as an only dog but after watching her on the doggie cam, we have learned that she loves to cuddle with the other dogs and paces when she is left alone.  IF she gets a ton of attention and goes with you everywhere, she could be on her own, but we think she would be happier with a confident dog who can hold their own.   She loves to cuddle and snuggle with her human and is very human oriented.   Total lap dog if you have a lap to warm!  Older kids would be OK…as long as they are not chaotic. Will you consider taking a chance on Carly? You will cherish the rest of your days if you do!
