MEET CHANTILLY….“Chantilly lace with a pretty face” really describes this 9 lb, 6 yr old, white, Maltese Mix (doesn’t seem to shed)…who came from the Moreno Valley Shelter a true mess before she was groomed! Her teeth looked like she had been eating dirt…but we did a dental and she had zero extractions (amazing for a Maltese!) This poor little lady was very shut down and withdrawn…she wasn’t feeling well with a severe UTI, which was treated successfully. Now she is a bundle of love and sweet, calm energy!

Chantilly’s favorite pastimes are kissing, cuddling and chasing after toys — not too sure what to do with them if she gets there, and always lets her foster roomie get them first. She has now figured it out and she practically gives herself whiplash!!! — but she has a very sweet personality and is very human oriented. While she doesn’t HAVE to go with another dog, she doesn’t like to be alone and will squawk about it for a few minutes, but does settle down. She is petite enough to share brunch on a Sunday…or run errands with you. She is well mannered and happy to be a part of a new family’s life!!

Now that she is feeling better, she has energy on her walks and does her business outside or on a pp pad…but no guarantees at your house! Chantilly is very friendly with everyone but quite shy at first. She could be with kids over 8 yrs old…as long as they make sure the door to outside is closed! Not a runner but loves to be out in the fresh air!
