THIS IS CARA…who hails from the SEAACA shelter.  This little 8.5 lb, 7-8 yr old, brindle shades of brown/tan/cream, Shih Tzu Terrier (??) nugget came to us with an inguinal hernia (turned out to be an umbilical hernia) and flea allergy dermatitis.  She may even have a little Maltese in her — eyes look small like Maltese!  Surgery has been done and her skin is getting way better — nothing that good food and a medicated bath can’t fix!   This poor little imp was bred and bred and bred.  The owners probably dumped her when they realized she couldn’t be bred anymore :((  She is sooooo affectionate and spends most of her time wanting to love and kiss you!  She is good with other dogs but she is also very portable and can go everywhere with you!  Cara seems to be pp pad trained or possibly potty trained with outside access.  We can’t ever guarantee anyway, but she is good and on her way!  She is very quiet and is a good eater (evidenced by the size of her poops!!).  Whoa!  Cara could definitely be a velcro dog but not in an extremely needy way.  She loves her people and loves being “in the mix.”  She loves her walks (but sometimes wants them short and sweet) and is interested in toys, but not sure what to do with them!  Cara is a sweetheart and deserves a wonderful, loving home and we’re going to make sure she has one!  She will be at our next event, November 21.
