MEET CALLIE…an adorable little miss who was dumped in the South Central Shelter because of “landlord problems.”  This precious, gray/white, 9 lb, 3 yr old, Poodle Mix came with horrible ears and a yeast infection that stunk to high heavens!  She could not be sweeter if she were chocolate ice cream!  Callie is good with EVERYONE…even cats!  That includes kids over 5 yrs old, men, women and dogs!  In fact, we KNOW she would be happiest with a canine buddy of her own!  She will follow you everywhere because she always wants to be part of the party.  She isn’t a barker, she is a lover not a fighter!  Callie is a great eater, especially for such a little girl.  She eats like she is starving!  While she doesn’t play with toys yet, she loves to play with her humans and any dog(s) who will play with her.  Because of her diminutive size, she would not fare well in a home with a large dog.  Callie can hold her own playing crazy with another dog…but otherwise, she is mellow and just wants to be with you.  The ideal home for her would be one with another small, active dog; parents who won’t leave her alone all day; and one where she gets oodles of attention.  She is very portable at her size and is really well behaved.  Her foster mom is working on her potty training, but we never guarantee anyway!!  Right now, it’s important to get her healthy and smelling like a rose!
