MEET MS. CAITEY….a very sweet, 12.2 lb, 2.5 yr old, cream colored Maltese Terrier mix, with extremely long legs!  If Caitey was human, she would either be a dancer or a super model!  Plus, she loves to get on her hind legs and dance with you, so there you go!  Initially, she is a little shy, but with kind loving she is an absolute doll.  

Caitey came from the North Central Shelter with flea allergy dermatitis and quite underweight.  She should weigh a bit more, and her hair is beginning to grow back (very soft and doesn’t shed).  She has great energy and she can also be very calm and adoring when you scratch her belly and tell her you love her!  She would also have a blast at the park or in your grassy backyard running and playing with your kids!  She likes toys but still isn’t completely sure what to do with them! 

The thing she doesn’t like is being left alone or away from the family, especially if she can hear you inside!  She will whine for a little while, but she does settle down.  Since nobody is home 24/7, we think she would be much happier having another dog in the home to keep her company if you cannot.  She loves other dogs and just about everyone — and she will give you an occasional kiss to let you know how much she appreciates your love.  Does Caitey sound like a little girl you could love?  She’s waiting (will not be at adoptions 9/22) and will be at our next event, October 13.
