MEET BRODIE…and he is personality plus!  This stocky, 15 lb, apx 3 yr old, white/tan, handsome Maltipoo was brought into the OC Shelter with multiple bite wounds from another dog or a coyote.  Kudos to the OC Shelter for performing two surgeries to save his life before letting him be pulled by rescue.  Of course, when he came into the shelter he was in pain and fearful…but now he is full of piss and vinegar kissing his way through all the humans and dogs in our rescue!  Brodie will be the first to nuzzle in to get love and attention, treats (watch your fingers) and toys.  Belly rubs welcomed!  He actually fetches and he won’t fight for the toy, but help another dog bring it back!  He is confident and yet sweet and loving. 

Brodie just wants to be seen — and not by a coyote!  When you are preparing his food, he will sit on his hind legs, like a human, and wait for you to notice he’s there!  He does most of his business outside — but don’t be surprised if he has an accident or two while getting the lay of the land.  A refresher course after being at daycare for a week or so might be in order!!  He is VERY playful and needs to have another little canine guy or gal to bond to and play with.  He would be great in a home with older kids (and always reminded “gentle”) and a family who pays a lot of attention to him.  He is definitely a character.  He doesn’t like to be left alone…who does?  🙂
