HERE’S BLOSSOM…and she is one sweet flower!  This 10 lb, 7 yr old, tan/white with black tips, 12 lb, soft as silk Shih Tzu,  came from the Devore shelter with an eye infection, skin issues (likely from bad food), a small mammary tumor from over breeding (sigh)… but a heart of gold.  One day after arriving, she was giving me kisses and loving her new digs!  It is so rewarding to watch her start to “Blossom” after a makeover, good food and antibiotics — already clearing up her skin!  This little lady seems to have been loved at one time but we have no idea how she ended up in the shelter.  She has good energy and loves to jump up on you for attention!   It takes no time at all for her to feel loved in your arms…and she is sooooo cute when she goes PP like a little lady!  No lifting a leg for this princess!  She seems to be potty trained (although we never guarantee) and will use pads if she can’t get out.  However, she never goes #2 except on a PP pad!  Her teeth will make you laugh…look like rice that was thrown into her mouth and they all landed in front!  Blossom could probably go to any home — where someone is around and/or another dog.  To make her happiest, she would love to have a mature dog to play with — not too crazy!  As she has come out of her shell, we find she really likes to engage.  She is happy as long as she is loved.  She is okay alone a little while, but she would love to be with you often as possible!  She is the epitome of a lap dog…does that call your name?  Her foster has a toddler and she really loves kids!  She may be a little older but she still acts like a young dog, playing with toys and such! Does Blossom sound like a flower you could love forever?
