ADOPTION PENDING

MEET BENNY (without his jets!) and he may not come with a posse, but he sure would like one!  Benny is an adorable, tan/white, 6 yr old, 10 lb, Shih Tzu…who has a bizarre story to tell.  He was originally found tied to a restaurant, but he didn’t belong to anyone there.  The person who tied him up couldn’t come back until 9pm, so his rescue angel saw he needed help on a “lost dog” post on FB and went to get him.  After posting lots of signs, many people tried to say he was their dog, but to be sure she found his rightful owner, she took him to East Valley Shelter, put a first rights on him (if the owner didn’t come) and she adopted him the right way!

Unfortunately, her 20 month old son tortured him, so she thought the best thing to do would be to give him to rescue.  That’s our story and we’re sticking to it!

Benny is a blast!  He is a very happy dog, very affectionate, kissy, playful, loves toys…all the things that Shih Tzu are known for.  He is a little feisty on a leash, so he needs some training there, but he is a real character.  He loves to sing with you…and makes very funny “shih tzu” noises when he plays.  Definitely wants a canine companion.  Not 100% potty trained, but we never guarantee anyway.  Don’t blink or he’ll be gone!!

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
