ARCHIE IS PENDING ADOPTION

THIS IS ARCHIE….an absolutely adorable, happy, playful, active, gray/white, 7.5 lb, 1 yr old PUPPY!!!  How this little doll ended up in the shelter, we will never know. He was supposed to go to a shelter fair and he “missed the bus” so he came to LHH instead!  The only thing wrong with Archie health wise was he had a parasite (coccidia) and he is still being treated for it and will not be available until March 29.

When we say Archie is active, we mean it!  He absolutely needs to have another small, young, playful dog in the home for him to play/bond with.  He loves to give his fosters (both canine and human) lots and lots of kisses!  He pulls ALL the toys in the room out to play with — those he doesn’t decapitate!  We are working on his potty training…still in progress.  He will need training in all areas….he is good on a leash (now) but will bark at strangers and other dogs until they are introduced, especially big dogs!  Archie is not a yapper but he will let you know if you step on his toe or do something he doesn’t like — not aggressive but vocal!  His bark/whine is piercing, so apartment living would not be great for him.  He has no separation anxiety — but we want him to have a canine sibling who can show him the ropes, so please have one if you apply!  No exceptions!

Finally, he is also a cuddle-bug and would be fine with kids over 8 yrs old (and welcomed) as long as they are not afraid of his puppy nibbling!  SoCA placements only.
