MEET MS. AMBER….who is a Galaxy beauty who comes from a Champion line of Lhasa Apso.  This charming 13.8 yr old, apricot, 17 lb Lhasa could not be sweeter if she tried.  Her story is a bit sad, as her 90 yr old owner had to move in with relatives who didn’t like dogs, so she was forced to give her up.  Having never known any other home, Amber has taken her time getting acclimated, but once she knows the lay of the land, she is just an angel.

Lhasa Apso live very long lives, and Amber is very healthy at her age.  She doesn’t take any medication and her bloodwork came out excellent.  Her eyes are a bit pigmented, so she is a little sight challenged but that doesn’t stop her from climbing up stairs or jumping up to the side of the bed to get your attention!  She loves to be cuddled and will just lay in your arms.  She will also position herself so that she can lean against you and then shower you with sloppy kisses!  She also had an injury to her front elbows which never required surgery but left her with a slight limp.

The ideal home for Amber would be one with lots of love and patience for this wonderful senior girl.  She would be happy to just keep you company, lay on your lap, watch you work — she is quite easy to please.  Although she is a picky eater! Amber likes to go for short, very leisurely walks, strolling and sniffing all along the way.  She does her business outside but will also use a pp pad…when taken out several times a day, she rarely has accidents — but no guarantees at your house!  Does this sweetheart sound like she could be your queen in her golden years — and maybe yours!?
