**ADOPTION PENDING WITH FLEURI!!**

MEET LINDY!!  A zaftig, tan colored, 8 yrs young, 16 lb Lhasa Apso Mix….who was a bit shy and fearful when she first arrived from SEAACA shelter.  We think that she was a “baby maker” and probably didn’t have a lot of human interaction.  They said she was nippy in the shelter…but as she has gotten comfortable, that has all but disappeared.  She did try to nip when we first got her…after she had been spayed…so you have to go slowly when picking her up, especially not to startle her.  But, it’s only fear of pain and definitely not aggression!  However, for this reason, we don’t believe she should go to a home with children.  It only took a day or so for her to become very loving and affectionate with her foster mom… and a day or so after that, she was trying to engage other dogs her size on her walks to play.  Initially, she loved to stroll…she would not be one to run a 10K!!   Now, she loves her 30 minute walks and exploring the beach area where she is being fostered!!

Lindy is quiet and loving at home, does not chew or bark.  She is mature and calm but would love to have an active, middle aged dog buddy and “human mom and dad,” to be her forever family. She does love her foster sister Flurry and they cuddle and nap together all the time.  So, if you are a mature adult or couple wanting a mellow, loving companion, and you have another pup, Lindy wants to be part of your family. She can be in an apartment as she isn’t much of a barker but does need to be taken out to pee on a regularly schedule.
