MEET PAULIE….a VERY busy 3 yr old, white/gray, 14.5 lb, Lhasa Maltipoo.  His gray eye and ear are adorable!  This little guy came from the East Valley shelter with a huge cherry eye!  We had it repaired and he’s doing fantastic! If you are looking for a dog or two who love to go running, hiking, playing with you and other dogs…Paulie would be your guy!  He barks at adoptions, but he is really much quieter at home — unless he has to warn you of danger!  He’s like a “dog on the run….dog on the run!”  He’s a “small but in charge” kind of boy!!  Nicholas actually takes the leash and walks Paulie!!  That being said, when you give Paulie belly rubs, he is gentle, quiet and very chill.  What will really help Paulie is training…he is very smart, he listens and he knows when he has been a bad boy (like tearing up pp pads!) He is quiet and only barks at strangers on the street but he is quiet at home.  Training will solve that issue!  Mostly, he just wants to meet everyone and visit all the trees and bushes.  Seems to understand potty training, does his business outside…but no guarantees at your house!  He loves to play and romp around, so a yard will be important in his life.  Another dog would be an absolute…and he has decided that Nicholas is his soul-bro (but they do not have to go as a pair).   Paulie wants to please you…he’s just hyper and needs to have a routine.  Kids over 10 yrs old would be great.  He is a little “puppy mouthy” so younger kids wouldn’t be a good idea.  No aggression that we have seen!  This boy just wants to be in his forever home…and know he won’t be abandoned again.  Exercising him will be important.  Any chance your home is the right one for these boys?
