Hello. Klondike Bar here.  I haven’t checked in for a while.  I am doing really well.  I have been given the opportunity to learn and enjoy many new activities.  The most recent one is Stand Up Paddleboarding.  My mommy says this sport comes natural to me.  I mastered it on the first try.  Jumped on the board and off I went like I’ve done it a million times.

When I first came to Lhasa Happy Homes, I was a biter. I gave my mommy many heart aches at one point.  But she never gave up on me. Because of love, she did whatever it took to help me. I have no idea why I was biting.  Maybe out of fear, out of protection, out of guarding – who knows.  But with the right training, patience, consistency, and most importantly – love – I have become the poster dog for aggressive behavior being corrected with training. We are just unfortunate dogs from unfortunate circumstances. All we need is a little love and care. As long as our needs are met, we will be the best pets forever.

I am now a happy and wonderful dog with a very fulfilled life. I love my family but am furever grateful to LHH for saving my life, despite being marked an aggressive dog.  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
