MEET DWEEZIL…. and there is no question, he is a rockstar! This adorable 15 lb, 3yr-old, tri-colored, Lhasa Shih Tzu mix came from the Harbor Animal Shelter.  He was meant to come to LHH, as the family who were supposed to take him saw what a mess he was and left him behind 🙁  We picked him up and brought him directly to our groomer.  The picture below shows you how matted this poor baby was and in obvious pain.

Didn’t affect his personality whatsoever!  Dweezil is very affectionate, high energy and happy go lucky, and he never complained!!  He is a sweetheart and will fall asleep in your arms while you rub his belly.

Dweezil loves everyone and is eager to please.  He is kissy, active, extremely playful, loves walks and toys and is a very happy pup!  The best home for him would be one where there is another young dog to have oodles of fun and playtime with, and one where he will get an abundance of love and attention. He would do well with kids, as he’s very gentle and gets along with everyone.  He loves to eat, is not picky about his meals and snacks and shares well with his foster bros. 

We are working on his potty training and it’s going very well, but no guarantees at your house. He is potty-pad trained.  He could use some leash training as he gets very excited to be outside and he will pull.  Good exercise for you both!
