MEET CONNOR…a very sweet and scruffy cream colored, 2 yr old, 12.5 lb Terrier Mix, who was lurking in the South Bay when he was found. We were told he was a Maltese X…he does have a curly tail, but that is the only resemblance. Connor has a funny, cute and endearing personality that will make you laugh. When he first arrived, he was understandably nervous but not aggressive. Poor guy had no idea where he was and the first thing we did was get him neutered. Then vaccinations. Then grooming. Oh yes, and the dreaded microchip. I warned his foster he might be a little nervous but he has been an angel with her! All she had to do was put a sweater on him and he calmed right down! He even seems to be potty trained, but no guarantees (he marked in my house when he visited)! At my house, he was quite hyper; at his foster home, he was mellow. Until she got this video of him zooming all over the house!! Go figure! Best of all worlds? This video was when he first arrived, but he also loves to cuddle! He can be willful, but training will solve that issue. We really haven’t heard him bark much, and he was quiet when his left for an hour! But, he also has a voice and decides when to use it!
Connor is a busy dog so he really needs a home where they will exercise him — take him for long walks, maybe be your running partner, go on hikes, runs on the beach — so he can be a well rounded puppy. He loves to give kisses and play with his toys…also loves bully sticks! Connor is young and very trainable. He loves belly rubs and cuddling in bed with you…what more could you ask for? We would like him to go to a home where kids over 8 yrs old could play with him…and with another dog, but it has to be the right dog. His bestie is Trey (see Trey’s profile for a great video!!) He is rather alpha, so another strong willed pooch might not be a match. We think he would be happiest with the right canine companion and kids. Could you love this scruffy pooch?
