MEET SAMPSON….a very handsome, tan/white, 21 lb, 9 yr old Lhasa Apso, who has swagger for days!!  This full-bodied pup doesn’t have an ounce of fat on him…he’s just a big boy who is fun to snuggle with!  When I saw him online, I fell in love! We pulled him from the Harbor Shelter… we were told he was 5 yr old and healthy!  Actually, he had two benign peri-anal tumors (removed) and cataract in one eye, limiting his vision (other eye is okay).  NOW that he has been with LHH, he is healthy!! We are taking him to an eye specialist to see if he can have cataract surgery to fully restore his vision!  He deserves it! Sampson loves toys, is good with other dogs and loves to chill. His favorite position is with his head in your lap.  He was very painful when we got him, so he was a little mouthy, but never would bite or be aggressive.  We think he had a good home, he seems to be totally potty trained, but perhaps his family couldn’t afford to take care of his medical.  Sampson needs an easy going household that wants a wonderful, loving dog who will be loyal to the end of his days. My Lhasa Apso lived to 19.5 yrs old, and we think Sampson will too.  Do you have a place in your heart for Sampson?
