MEET ODIE!!!  One of the reasons black dogs are left in the shelter is because in the dark shelters it is hard to see them….even in these pictures.  But one thing that stands out is their eyes…like Odie’s eyes.  They tell you everything!!  This adorable, black/brown brindle Lhasa Tzu, who is about 3 yrs old and 13 lbs, is a gem.  He is happy, playful, loves toys, loves people, gives lots and lots of kisses and just wants to be loved!!  His coat is silky soft and he is such a gentleman.  He will jump on the couch when invited….and now he likes it there!!  He doesn’t like being left behind, and that is the only time we’ve heard him bark.  Odie is a great eater, wonderful with other dogs – big and little – and loves his walks!  We’ve had a lot of dogs at LHH and Odie has become a favorite!  The ideal home for him will be one that has another young, playful dog; kids over 8 yrs old would be welcomed.  He would also like to have a family that will take him with them when they go out…drive the kids to school, to sports events — he is great in the car and to be honest with you…we’ve found no flaws.  He even seems to be potty trained (but no guarantees at your house!).  Odie will slip into your heart if you let him.  Do you have room for a special guy?
